Vacation Village in the Berkshires is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please call the resort at 413.738.2000 to notify the staff of late arrivals.
Yes. If you arrive at Vacation Village in the Berkshires earlier and your assigned suite is available, we will be more than happy to check you in early. If unavailable at your arrival time, we kindly ask that you return at the regular check-in time of 4:00 PM.
Late check-outs are not permitted. Late check-outs will result in a minimum of $125.00 fee. In an emergency, you may reach out to the front desk and they will discuss a possible extension of check-out.
The minimum age to check in is 21.
A picture ID, a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), and a confirmation/hotel voucher are required at check-in time.
There is also a refundable security deposit of $150.00 placed as a hold on a credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning required in the suite. Upon check-out, that security deposit is returned to the credit card. If you use a debit card for the security deposit, it may take up to 14 business days after the hold has been released to show up on your bank statement.
Yes. A non-refundable resort fee of $50.00 plus tax per reservation is collected at the time of check-in for exchangers, and $10.00 plus tax per night for renters. It includes WiFi, access to activities and amenities including morning coffee, board game and DVD library, water aerobics, family movie night, arts & crafts (schedule provided at check-in), access to the fitness and business center, and use of an in-room safe.

Vacation Village in the Berkshires has 20 buildings with 360 one-bedroom suites (or 180 two-bedroom lockoff suites). Buildings vary between two to three floors with no elevators. Elevators are only available in the clubhouse to access the amenities on the top floor.
Yes. Call the resort at 413.738.2000 to submit any special requests (room views, floor level, building location, etc.) you may have for your upcoming stay. We accept requests as early as two weeks before the check-in date.
Accommodations are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to Vacation Village in the Berkshires owners, followed by Exchangers, but we will make every effort to honor special requests based on availability.
Yes. You may upgrade from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom suite or a partial kitchen to a full kitchen. Upgrades are based on availability, and fees apply. Call the resort at 413.738.2000for more information.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has designated suites that meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Please advise the staff of your needs when making reservations, so we can verify availability before confirming your reservation.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires offers free parking for all owners and guests. There is also 24-hour security throughout the resort.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a dedicated parking area for guests with recreational vehicles. Please contact the resort at 413.738.2000 before arrival to inform the staff that you will be coming with an RV.
Yes. Electric vehicle charging stations are located near the outdoor swimming pool.
Yes. At Vacation Village in the Berkshires, we understand that pets are an extension of your family. We are one of the few resorts in the area that offers a limited number of pet-friendly suites.
As of January 1, 2023, our resort only accepts pets for Vacation Village Resorts owners. Dogs must be less than 35 pounds with vaccination records sent to the resort for prior approval. Please contact the resort directly at 413.738.2000 for availability and fees.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires will accept package deliveries for our registered owners and guests free of charge. Prior arrangements with the resort must be made. Please contact the front desk at 413.738.2000 for more information.
Yes. WiFi is included in the resort fee.
No. At Vacation Village in the Berkshires, housekeeping services are not included, but if you want a cleaning, you may contact the front desk at 413.738.2000 for availability during your stay. Housekeeping services are $25.00 per one-bedroom suite and must be scheduled in advance to ensure availability.
No. Vacation Village in the Berkshires is a smoke-free resort. Smoking outside is permitted; however, Vacation Village in the Berkshires does not provide guests with designated smoking areas.
No. Vacation Village in the Berkshires does not offer rollaway beds or extra beds; however, Pack-‘n-Play® are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests must be present in the suite to receive the delivery. Charges may apply.
No. Vacation Village in the Berkshires does not offer discounted tickets to Jiminy Peak.
Albany International Airport (ALB) is about one hour away from Vacation Village in the Berkshires.
No. Vacation Village in the Berkshires does not offer shuttle transportation to or from the airport. We recommend a rental car, taxi, or ridesharing apps like Uber or Lyft.
Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort is a short 5-minute drive from Vacation Village in the Berkshires. Our owners and guests can visit Jiminy Peak for snow activities such as skiing, snowboarding, or snow tubing. They also have a mountain coaster. Yes. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools at Vacation Village in the Berkshires are heated.
Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a heated indoor swimming pool inside the clubhouse and a heated outdoor swimming pool located behind the clubhouse. Weather permitting, the outdoor pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Poolside lounge chairs are available to our owners and guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Pool towels are provided at each pool. The resort reserves the right to remove towels and personal belongings on chairs left unattended for an extended period. For your safety as well as the safety of others, please be sure to read the pool rules and regulations located in the pool areas, near the restrooms, or on the gate leading into the pool.
The indoor pool hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The outdoor and children’s pool hours are from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has an outdoor hot tub on the patio of the clubhouse, and it is open year-round.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a children’s swimming pool with an umbrella-like water feature next to the outdoor pool. It’s open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
No. Currently, there are no weekly planned resort activities offered by Vacation Village in the Berkshires. However, you may call the front desk at 413.738.2000 to inquire about any recommended local activities or attractions nearby you can do with your kids during your vacation.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a children’s playground behind the clubhouse. It’s open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has an arcade/game room with vending machines on the first floor of the clubhouse. It’s open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
The basketball court at Vacation Village in the Berkshires is located on the south side of the outdoor swimming pool. Basketballs can be picked up at the front desk.
The volleyball court at Vacation Village in the Berkshires is located west of the outdoor swimming pool between Buildings 8 and 9. Volleyballs can be picked up at the front desk.
In addition to the indoor and outdoor pools, children’s pool, playground, and arcade, Vacation Village in the Berkshires also offers an outdoor firepit on the clubhouse patio and a private movie theater with seating for up to 42 guests. Reservations for the movie theater are not required, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Movies are shown twice daily, Friday through Monday (Schedule subject to change during peak season).
Vacation Village in the Berkshires also has a board game and DVD library at the front desk. To learn more about the Berkshires area, please stop by our Monday morning “Explore the Berkshires” presentation in the movie theater at the clubhouse.
No. Vacation Village in the Berkshires does not have a restaurant on-site; however, there are a variety of restaurants in the surrounding area.
Yes. Enjoy a picturesque lunch at any of Vacation Village in the Berkshires’ outdoor barbecue grills and picnic areas.

Grilling utensils can be picked up at the front desk. The resort does not provide charcoal. Grilling is not permitted on any of the suite balconies or patios.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a fitness center equipped with cardio and strength training machines. It’s located on the second floor of the clubhouse and is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Yes. For your convenience, Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a business center equipped with computers and printers on the first floor of the clubhouse. It’s open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
The suites at Vacation Village in the Berkshires offer our owners and guests spacious one- and two-bedroom floor plans designed for maximum comfort. Each suite's living room, dining room, and kitchen are integrated for entertaining and enjoyment. All suites have carpet in the living areas and bedroom and ceramic tile in the kitchen and bathroom.
Yes. Vacation Village in the Berkshires offers two-bedroom lockoff suites, which are two one-bedroom with a common foyer. That means you would have two living rooms, two dining rooms, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The two one-bedrooms can accommodate up to eight people, four in each one-bedroom suite.
The one-bedroom suite can accommodate up to four people, which includes two individuals sleeping on a queen-size sleeper sofa. The two-bedroom lockoff suite can sleep up to eight people, four in each one-bedroom suite.
Yes. All the suites at Vacation Village in the Berkshires have a private patio or balcony with a table and chairs.
A Suites feature fully-appointed kitchens equipped with a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave convection oven, drip coffee maker (a starter pack of filters is provided), toaster, a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, and blender.
B and C Suites feature partial kitchens, which include most of the amenities of the A Suite, except for the stove/oven; instead, guests will have a two-burner hot plate for their cooking. B Suites do not have a dishwasher. C Suites have a dishwasher.
Most commonly used cookware, such as dishes, pots, and pans, are included in each suite. There is dinnerware for four in each one-bedroom suite.
Each suite at Vacation Village in the Berkshires features a television in the living room and bedroom, a DVD player in the living room, and WiFi internet access.
No. Only A Suites have a king-size bed in the primary bedroom. B and C Suites have a queen-size bed in the primary bedroom. In addition, all suites have a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.
A and C suites have a jetted tub and an enclosed walk-in shower in the bathroom. Some A Suites have a jetted tub in the primary bedroom and an enclosed walk-in shower in the bathroom. In consideration of guests staying in neighboring rooms, please limit running the jetted tubs after 10:00 PM.
B Suites have a standard tub/shower in the bathroom. All bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer.
Yes. There is a wall-mounted hair dryer in each bathroom.
Vacation Village in the Berkshires has a limited quantity of toiletry items, such as shampoo, conditioner, and soap, that may be available at the front desk. However, we recommend that you bring your own toiletries.
No. There are shared washers and dryers on every floor of each building at Vacation Village in the Berkshires. They are available for our owners and guests at no cost. Laundry soap dispensers are coin-operated and located on the main floor laundry room of each building.
Yes. Each suite has an iron and ironing board.
Yes. Each suite has a safe with an electronic keypad in the primary bedroom closet.
