    • What time are the check-in and check-out?

      +

      The check-in time is 4:00 PM local time, and the check-out time is promptly at 10:00 AM. Vacation Village at Bonaventure shares the same Registration Building as our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston, and is located at 16461 Racquet Club Road, Weston, FL 33326.

      For your convenience, Vacation Village at Bonaventure offers three ways of checking out:

      1. If you need a receipt, please bring your keys to the Registration Building by 10:00 AM on the day of your departure.
      2. We have a check-out box where you can drop off your room key at the Registration Building.
      3. You can text “check out” to 954.388.7517 with the full name on the reservation for express check-out options.

      Before you depart, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to:

      • Place TV remote controls with the TV.
      • Leave all soiled linens and towels in the bathroom.
      • Start the dishwasher.

      Vacation Village at Bonaventure is not responsible for any items left behind.

    • What are the front desk hours for Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Vacation Village at Bonaventure is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Check-ins are done in the same Registration Building as our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston, located at 16461 Racquet Club Road, Weston, FL 33326. Please call the resort at 954.384.9445 to notify the staff of late arrivals.

    • Is early check-in or late check-out available?

      Yes. If you arrive at Vacation Village at Bonaventure earlier and your assigned suite is available, we will be more than happy to check you in early. If it is unavailable at your arrival time, we kindly ask that you return at the regular check-in time of 4:00 PM.

      To request a later check-out time, please contact the front desk on the day of your departure. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on resort occupancy.

    • How old do you have to be to check in?

      The minimum age to check-in is 21.

    • What identification and type of credit cards are accepted to check in?

      +

      A picture ID, a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover), or a $150.00 cash security deposit, and a confirmation/hotel voucher are required at check-in time.

      There is also a refundable security deposit of $150.00 placed as a hold on a credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning required in the suite. Upon check-out, that security deposit is returned to the credit card. If you use a debit card for the security deposit, it may take up to 14 business days after the hold has been released to show up on your bank statement.

    • Are there any extra fees that are not included with a reservation?

      Yes. A non-refundable $50.00 resort fee is collected at the time of check-in (one fee per reservation). It includes WiFi, limited local transportation within a 3-mile radius via shuttle service, discounts at participating merchants (must show room key), access to Vacation Village at Weston’s resort amenities and activities such as aqua fitness, poolside cash Bingo, concert by the pool, access to the fitness centers and business center, morning coffee, and use of an in-room safe. The resort fee applies to all guests, including Vacation Village Resorts Owners, RCI Exchanges, and rentals.

      For your convenience, guests staying at Vacation Village at Bonaventure can use the amenities at Vacation Village at Weston.

      There is also a refundable security deposit of $150.00 placed as a hold on a credit card for any incidentals to the suite. Upon check-out, that security deposit is returned back to the credit card. If you use a debit card for the security deposit, it may take up to 14 business days after the hold has been released to show up on your bank statement.

    • How many buildings does Vacation Village at Bonaventure have?

      Vacation Village at Bonaventure has seven buildings (Heron I and II, Sandpiper I and II, Flamingo I and II, and Egret). There are 614 one-bedroom suites (or 307 two-bedroom lockoff suites) in the Heron, Sandpiper, and Flamingo buildings. The Egret Building has 38 suites, nine are three-bedroom suites, and 29 are two-bedroom suites. Buildings vary between 3-7 floors with elevators.

    • Can a specific building or view be requested?

      Yes. Call the resort at 954.384.9445 to submit any special requests (room views, floor level, building location, etc.) you may have for your upcoming stay. We accept requests as early as two weeks prior to the check-in date.

      Accommodations are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to Vacation Village at Bonaventure owners, followed by Exchangers, but we will make every effort to honor special requests based on availability.

    • Is it possible to upgrade to a larger room?

      Yes. You may upgrade from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom suite or a partial kitchen to a full kitchen. Upgrades are based on availability, and fees apply. Call the resort at 954.384.9445 for more information.

    • Can a handicap-accessible room be requested?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure has designated suites that meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Please advise the staff of your needs when making a reservation, so we can verify availability before confirming your reservation.

    • Is parking free?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure offers free parking for all owners and guests, including covered parking. We also have courtesy security officers daily from 3:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

    • Is RV parking permitted at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      No. In accordance with the City of Weston’s Code Enforcements, no trailer, boat, or RV parking is permitted anywhere at Vacation Village at Bonaventure. Please contact the resort at 954.384.9445 for recommendations on available, approved parking.

    • Are there Electric Vehicle charging stations at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Yes. Electric vehicle charging stations are located by the Heron buildings.

    • Is Vacation Village at Bonaventure pet-friendly?

      Yes. At Vacation Village at Bonaventure, we understand that pets are an extension of your family. We are one of the few resorts in the area that offers a limited number of pet-friendly suites in the Flamingo I and II buildings. There is a maximum of two pets per suite with a weight restriction of up to 30 pounds. The resort must approve before arrival. Please contact the resort directly at 954.384.9445 for availability and fees.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure accept packages for guests?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure owners and guests may receive up to two complimentary package deliveries per reservation. After the second package, each package delivery has an additional charge of $5.00. Packages must be addressed to the name on the reservation.     • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure offer free WiFi?

      Yes. WiFi is included in the resort fee.

    • Is daily housekeeping available at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      No. Vacation Village at Bonaventure does not offer daily housekeeping; however, owners and guests staying seven or more nights will receive one full-service cleaning for each additional week.

      Light housekeeping services are available upon request for a minimal fee.

    • Is smoking permitted at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      No. Vacation Village at Weston is a smoke-free resort. Smoking outside is permitted; however, Vacation Village at Bonaventure does not provide guests with designated smoking areas.

    • Are extra beds or cribs available for small children?

      Yes. Rollaway beds and Pack-‘n-Play® are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Other items, such as cribs and high chairs, may be rented through a participating local vendor. Guests must be present in the suite to receive the delivery. Charges may apply.

    • Are the pools at Vacation Village at Bonaventure heated?

      Yes. All five outdoor swimming pools at Vacation Village at Bonaventure are heated.

    • Where are the pools located?

      Vacation Village at Bonaventure has five heated outdoor swimming pools for your enjoyment.

      Their locations are as follows:

      • Heron Pool (2) - Between the Heron I and II buildings
      • Sandpiper Pool - Beside the Sandpiper II Building
      • Flamingo Pool - In front of the Flamingo I Building
      • Egret Pool - In front of the Egret Building

      Poolside lounge chairs are available to our owners and guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Pool towels are provided at the Heron Pool. The resort reserves the right to remove towels and personal belongings on chairs that have been left unattended for an extended period. For your safety as well as the safety of others, please be sure to read the pool rules and regulations located in the pool areas, near the restrooms, or on the gate leading into the pools.

      For your convenience, guests staying at Vacation Village at Bonaventure can use the amenities at Vacation Village at Weston.

      Our sister property, Vacation Village at Weston, has another heated swimming pool with a waterfall feature located behind the Registration Building.

      The pool hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

    • Is there a hot tub at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure has one hot tub located by the Heron Pool (behind the Heron II Building).

      For your convenience, guests staying at Vacation Village at Bonaventure can use the amenities at Vacation Village at Weston.

      Our sister property, Vacation Village at Weston, has another hot tub our guests can use during their vacation. It is located by the main swimming pool.

    • Is there a children’s pool at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure has a children’s pool at the Heron Pool (behind the Heron II Building).

      For your convenience, guests staying at Vacation Village at Bonaventure can use the amenities at Vacation Village at Weston.

      Our sister property, Vacation Village at Weston, also has a children’s pool with an umbrella-like water feature by the main swimming pool.

    • Are there any activities for children at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure offers weekly planned activities for all ages, including aqua fitness, poolside cash Bingo, and Concert by the Pool. A copy of the daily activities is provided at check-in. There is also a social center where guests can watch movies. The social center is located between the Flamingo I and Flamingo II buildings. You can also call the Front Desk at 954.384.9445 to ask about any daily activities available during your vacation.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure have a playground?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure has a children’s playground in front of the Heron II Building. It’s open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure have an arcade?

      No. Vacation Village at Bonaventure does not have an arcade or game room. However, outdoor activities such as ping pong and cornhole boards are available at our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston. Call the Front Desk at 954.384.9445 for more information.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure have a restaurant?

      No. Even though Vacation Village at Bonaventure does not have a restaurant onsite, our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston, has a Tropical Gift Shop & Deli that sells cold and hot food, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and more. It is located inside the Registration Building and is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

      Vacation Village at Weston also has a poolside smoothie bar open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Flavors include mango, piña colada, strawberry banana, passion fruit, and raspberry. $3.00 each - cash only.

    • Are there barbecue grills available at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure has two picnic areas equipped with barbecue grills. One is between the Heron buildings, and the other is at the Flamingo II Building.

      For your convenience, guests staying at Vacation Village at Bonaventure can use the amenities at Vacation Village at Weston.

      You can also enjoy a picturesque lunch at one of the two gazebos at our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston. One is behind the Ibis Building near the children’s pool, and the other is behind the Osprey Building. Both gazebos feature granite countertops and built-in gas grills.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure have a fitness center?

      Vacation Village at Bonaventure does not have a fitness center; however, our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston has two fitness centers equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and multi-station strength training machines. They are located inside the Registration Building and are open daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

      For your convenience, guests staying at Vacation Village at Bonaventure can use the amenities at Vacation Village at Weston.

      Vacation Village at Weston also offers outdoor fitness equipment for our owners and guests to use. It features seven machines and is located between the Heron and Sandpiper buildings. This area is available daily from sunrise to sunset.

    • Are public computers and printers available at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      Vacation Village at Bonaventure does not have computers or printers available; however, our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston, has a business center with computers, a printer, and a USB charging station located inside the Registration Building. Books are available to rent during your stay, too. The business center is open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

    • Where is the Vacation Village Resorts Adirondack chair to take photos located at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      You can’t miss it! Our blue oversized Adirondack chair is right in front of the Heron Pool (behind the Heron II Building). We encourage our Vacation Village at Bonaventure owners and guests to sit on the chair and take photos to share on their social media platforms using #VacationVillage.

      Our sister resort, Vacation Village at Weston, has another blue oversized Adirondack chair located in front of the main swimming pool.

    • How are the suites laid out at Vacation Village at Bonaventure?

      The suites at Vacation Village at Bonaventure offer our owners and guests spacious one-,two-, and some three-bedroom floor plans designed for maximum comfort. Each suite’s living room, dining room, and kitchen are integrated for entertaining and enjoyment. All suites have ceramic tile in the living areas, kitchen, and bathroom, and carpeted floors in the bedrooms.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure have adjoining/connecting rooms?

      Yes. Vacation Village at Bonaventure offers two-bedroom lockoff suites, which are two adjoining one-bedroom suites with a common foyer. That means you would have two living rooms, two dining rooms, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The two one-bedrooms can accommodate up to eight people, four in each one-bedroom suite.

      The Egret Building offers a three-bedroom floor plan, and accommodations are based on availability. It can accommodate up to eight people.

    • How many people can each suite sleep?

      The one-bedroom suite can accommodate up to four people, which includes two individuals sleeping on the queen-size sleeper sofa. The two-bedroom lockoff suite can sleep up to eight people, four in each one-bedroom suite. The three-bedroom suite at the Egret Building can accommodate up to eight people.

    • Do all the rooms have a patio or balcony?

      No. Only the A Suites at Vacation Village at Bonaventure have a private patio or balcony with a table and chairs.

    • What appliances are in the kitchen?

      +

      A Suites feature fully-appointed kitchens equipped with a stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave convection oven, drip coffee maker (a starter pack of filters is provided), toaster, a full-size refrigerator with ice maker, and blender.

      B Suites feature partial kitchens, which include most of the amenities of the A Suite, except for the stove/oven and dishwasher; instead, guests will have a two-burner hot plate for cooking.

      The Sandpiper buildings at Vacation Village at Bonaventure are the only buildings with B Suites that include a dishwasher, and accommodations are based on availability.

    • What type of cookware and dinnerware is in the kitchen?

      Most commonly used cookware, such as dishes, pots, and pans, are included in each suite. There is dinnerware for four in each one-bedroom suite.

    • What entertainment options are available in each suite?

      Each suite at Vacation Village at Bonaventure features a television in the living room and bedroom, a DVD player in the living room, and WiFi internet access.

    • Do all bedrooms have a king-size bed?

      No. Only A Suites have a king-size bed in the primary bedroom. B Suites have a queen-size bed in the primary bedroom. In addition, all suites have a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.

    • Is there a jetted tub or walk-in shower in the bathroom?

      A Suites have a jetted tub in the primary bedroom and an enclosed walk-in shower with a double sink vanity in the bathroom. B Suites have a tub/shower in the bathroom. All bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer.

    • Is there a hair dryer?

      Yes. There is a wall-mounted hair dryer in each bathroom.

    • Does Vacation Village at Bonaventure provide toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash?

      No. Vacation Village at Bonaventure will only include a sample-size bar soap in the bathrooms. However, we recommend you bring your own toiletries.

    • Is there a washer and dryer in the room?

      No. There are shared washers and dryers located across the elevators on every floor of the buildings. Only the suites in the Egret Building at Vacation Village at Bonaventure include a washer and dryer.

    • Is there an iron and ironing board?

      Yes. Each suite has an iron and ironing board.

    • Is there a safe?

      Yes. Each suite has a safe with an electronic keypad in the primary bedroom closet.
